Jihadist Propaganda - Achernar and Noreagaa, Debunked

Islamic filmmakers Achernar and Noreagaa have put out on the Web a huge 50-part compilation called the Wakeup Project explaining Jihadism to the English-speaking world. While some of their claims are too abstruse to be testable, many aren't. And most of these claims are false.

Historical Falsehoods

Muslims World

The first such claim is that the Antichrist (in Arabic, Dajjal) has ruled, and is going to rule, the world through Western countries, with England ruling from 900AD to 1900AD; America from 1917 to 2000; then Israel for the next 23 years. Anyone with historical knowledge knows this to be false. England was a feudal backwater that, with the exception of its conquest of France under Henry V, barely ruled itself until Queen Elizabeth, who came into power in 16th century. Until then, the major powers in the world were China, which controlled half the world's GDP while Europe was in the Dark Ages; the Muslim lands around Baghdad; and the Mongol Empire, which controlled half the world's landmass and population for over a century. The Songhai and Mali empires of Africa, the Moghul Empire of India, the Moore Civilization of Northern Africa, the Muslim caliphates, and the Mesoamerican civilizations, all had accomplishments that exceeded those of Medieval England. These things are not mentioned much in Western history classes, as these were not proud times in white man's history. But those who study world history know this to be the case.

Jihadist Propaganda - Achernar and Noreagaa, Debunked

England was in fact the greatest power in the world for three centuries from 1600 to 1900; but even then it was not alone. Spain, France, and to a lesser extent Germany, Russia, United States, Ottoman Empire, Netherlands, Belgium, and Portugal, all controlled large parts of the world at the time. These three centuries could be called European centuries, but the previous seven hundred years were neither English nor European. To claim that England ruled the world from 900AD to 1900AD is absurd.

Muslims World

The claim that America ruled the world from 1917 to 2000 is more accurate, but that is not saying much. The 20th century has in fact been called American century; but once again that is not the full story. The two great powers of 20th century were United States and Soviet Union. Germany and Japan also aspired to be great powers, but they were defeated militarily; after which they became major economic, but not military or political, powers. The claim of the film is that Israel will rule the world for the next 23 years. That comes across as unlikely; but if a tiny nation like Israel, that is faced with the kind of hatred with which it is faced, can not only survive as a nation but exercise a major voice in world affairs, then that is a great accomplishment on the part of Israeli people and one for which they deserve respect.

In its invective against Zionism, the film shows a picture of a book called "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion." This book is a well-known Russian forgery. There is no such thing as "the Elders of Zion" or their "protocols," and the practices that are described in this book have absolutely no relation to actual practices of any Jewish denomination. That these filmmakers would use such an obvious and well-known fraud shows them that they are conmen, and that they also think that their audience is stupid enough to fall for their con. Neither of these bode well for their treatment of their audience.

Another fraudulent claim is that the current Pope is a Nazi - bolstered by a picture of the Pope as a child with a swastika on his arm. Should I state the obvious: That the fact the Pope was a child in Germany at the time that Germany was Nazi says nothing about his current convictions or about who he presently is? The Nazi Germany was a totalitarian country, and the choice people had was either be Nazi or be dead. The only thing he can be accused of is being born in the wrong place at the wrong time. That he was Nazi, as a child, in a place where people had no other choice but to be Nazi, does not mean that he is a Nazi now, 65 years down the road.

Islamic Conspiracy Theories

A central claim of the film is that a monolithic Satanic elite has been running the world for centuries and is doing the same now. I ask this: What is the status of the relationships between an elite called the Texas Oil and an elite called the National Endowment for the Arts? For that matter, what was the status of the relationships between government elites and corporate elites - between Wall Street and Congressional Democrats - between CIA and American media - between Republican Party and American academia? What is the status of the relationships between Iranian students and Iranian Guardian Council - between Hindu Brahmins and Hindu Socialists - between Taliban and the United Arab Emirates commercial interests - between Tobacco Industry and the National Institutes of Health? At any time in the history of the world, there is any number of powerful groups and powerful individuals who have different and frequently competing or hostile beliefs, values and interests; as well as any number of ambitious or angry groups and individuals who seek to either become part of these groups, supplant them, destroy them, or exist alongside of them. The elites have different purposes and different aims, and the only thing that they have in common is that they got where they are by being effective at something. Beyond that, they are as different from one another as New York is from Kandahar.

Another claim is that the Hollywood stars are puppets - and not just anyone's puppets, but the puppets of powerful Satanic interests. There are two things that the filmmakers fail to understand about Hollywood. One is that it is a capitalist industry, and capitalist industries produce what sells. The movies about gangsters and drug dealers sell, and that's why they are on the market. For that matter, we also find on the market such religious films as Apostle, Fallen, Devil's Advocate, Passion and Apocalypto. For that matter, we also find on the market children's films such as Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, Transformers, Bratz and Cars. For that matter, we also find on the market Charlie Chaplin movies, Disney classics, and films such as Chinatown, Titanic, and Schindler's List. As any industry, Hollywood produces what sells; and what sells in market economy depends on the demand and what composes the demand.

They also fail to understand this: that Hollywood has many voices in it, and they too are different and have different agendas. So that when Madonna - who is in no way a puppet, who writes her own songs, who makes her own show, and who has always defied both convention and prediction to constantly re-invent herself, going from celebrating consumerism as "Material Girl" in 1980s to rejecting 1980s consumerism and everything that it was about in her 1999 mystical album ("You're so concerned with how much you get, you waste your time with hate and regret, you're frozen when your heart's not open") - metamorphs herself into a dog in her video, or appears as an occult priestess at a concert, what is presented is not the values of Hollywood, but the values of Madonna. The values of Madonna differ from the values of Alec Baldwin, whose values differ from the values of Angelina Jolie, whose values differ from those of Eminem, whose values differ from those of Elton John, whose values differ from the values of Britney Spears, whose values differ from those of Mel Gibson, whose values differ from those of Spike Lee or Francis Ford Coppolla or Steven Spielberg. This is an inevitable result of the fact that it is an entity that is not homogeneous, but has many people in it who believe different things.

The film is right to state that much great art gets lost in Hollywood, and that there is not presently music being produced in Hollywood that compares with the work of Bob Marley. This is likewise due to market. As I've found out from a magnificent rock band called Persephone's Bees, the Hollywood music industry works in genres, and music that is truly creative is not easy to pigeonhole. For that reason there is such a thing as alternative music market and independent ("indie") music market, and some of the work that is found in these markets is indeed great art.

Showing the murder of Malcolm X, the filmmakers state, "This is what happens to truth in the world." It bears stating that the exact same thing happened to American liberal leaders John and Robert Kennedy; to American atheist leader Madalyn Murray O'Hair; to civil rights and liberation leaders Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Patrice Lumumba; to Yitzhak Rabin, Anwar Sedat and Benazir Bhutto. Of these, only the last two were Muslim; and both were moderate Muslims who were murdered by Muslim militants. Malcolm X, as an assassinated leader, was in this regard one out of many, and in disagreement with most on just about everything that counts.

The film continues to portray Malcolm X as "one of the most powerful and most honest leaders of all time." This demonstrates just what the filmmakers define as honest and powerful. As Martin Luther King said, there is nothing more dangerous than honest ignorance and sincere stupidity. As far as great historic leaders go, Malcolm X is not even on the list. He does not begin to compare to Jefferson, Washington, Churchill, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Simon Bolivar, Kwame Nkruma, or even Lenin and Mao. Martin Luther King was the real "powerful honest" American civil rights leader whose nonviolent resistance gave black people the moral authority that was needed to change the American laws and society in their favor. Malcolm X, on the other hand, wanted violent struggle against the white man. That the filmmakers would identify blind, stupid, self-defeating violence with honesty and power says more about their character and their values than it does about anything else.

It was in fact this - blind, stupid, self-defeating violence - that became the worst blight of American black communities in the decades that followed. Not only did this practice result in rape, pillage and murder of millions of black Americans by other black Americans and the black neighborhoods becoming blighted to the point that no business or educational institution would go there, but it severely undermined the moral authority that American black people had gained through the nonviolent civil rights struggle. The black neighborhoods turning into a gangster's paradise not only ruined life for black people, but also formed much of the basis for latter-day racism on the part of people inside and outside America. This ruinous legacy, unfortunately, has much to do with advocates of violence, both against the white man and in itself.

Another claim in the film is that the Freemasons are a satanic cult, and that America as the world's first Masonic country has been using covert tactics, from magic to psychological manipulation, to turn people toward the Masonic way of thinking in order to control the world. This claim is wed with the claim that Zionism is also Satanic and allied with Freemasonry. This reminds me of the "Kike-Masonic Conspiracy" nonsense that the hooligan types in Russia were shouting about. Covert persuasion, and different forms of mystical practices, have been used through all of history, by all kinds of entities. If the Freemasons are using mysticism, they are in that one group among myriads. As for use of psychology, it is standard marketing and political fare and has been so for decades all over the world.

A large part of the film goes on to relate different structures around the world to have been created for the sake of harvesting energy for purposes good or ill. It then claims that octagones and domes are good; that obelisks such as Washington Monument and pyramids such as the decorations on U.S. Dollar are evil; and that the street plan of Washington, DC shows an inverted pentagram - the symbol of Lucifer. The claim is that all these structures have been created to serve Satan. I am reminded of a poetry reading in DC that I attended. Someone started the reading by referring to Washington Monument as "a giant while penis symbolizing the white man screwing the world." I responded with, "As one of the few white people here, I would like to make clear that the penis on the Washington Mall is not mine." Octagons, domes good? Obelisks, pyramids evil? What about structures that are not found either in Islamic or Western architecture? What about pagodas, stupas, monasteries and homes carved into mountains, Japanese gardens, Golden Temple of Armitsar, Kremlin, the Forbidden City of Bejing, Boroboddur, the structures of Machu Picchu? To claim such things without proof is irresponsible propaganda, which most of the movie shows itself to be.

The film shows the outside and the inside of a major new shopping center in Dubai and claims its Egyptian-style decorations to be an attempt to resurrect the religion of ancient Egypt. More likely, it is simply a tourist draw. Since many of the people who go to Dubai to do shopping there are from the West, it is good business sense that they get a taste there of ancient Egypt. And if anyone who was affiliated with the project actually had it in mind to recreate some achievements of Egyptian civilization, then that may be called conscience. Egypt was a major civilization before it became Muslim; and if some people in Middle East are interested in recreating some of Egypt's achievements, then that is to their credit.

There is a claim in the movie that since the construction of Burj Dubai - by far the world's tallest building - the city of Dubai has been covered in mist, in which it has not been covered previously. The movie claims that no meteorologist has explained this, but that it is explained metaphysically as Burj Dubai being Satanic. Apparently the meteorologists asked have not been particularly competent. The building is so tall, that its tallest portions reach much colder air that is found at its heights close to a kilometer above the ground. The cold then goes down the building to cool the air at the bottom of the building, reducing its ability to carry water and resulting in humidity settling down as mist.

Metaphysical Blunders

The movie talks about different metaphysical ideas, such as that the checkered floor is the symbol of intersection of dimensions, and that every time there is a checkered floor, then that is its meaning. The claim in all cases is that application of any metaphysical ideas, whether done deliberately or not deliberately, is done to serve the Satan - in the same way as, for example, many Western Christians accuse Wiccans of worshiping Satan when Wiccans do not even believe that there is such a being as Satan, less worship the same. One would expect to hear this from people who believe that all of the world - both nature and man - is of the Satan, and that all its knowledge and accomplishment is meant to serve Satan. But what one really is hearing in all these cases is the Mosque or the Church appropriating the credit for all that exists in nature and all that humanity has accomplished while it has created none of these things, has destroyed it wherever it found it, and viciously resisted it in the areas of its domination whenever it attempted to come to being.

Intersection of dimensions evil? What next: The coordinate system evil? Calculus evil? Physics evil? Chemistry? Biology? It is by having beliefs such as these that Muslims ensured the ignorance of the people who have the misfortune of living under their rule and the complete lack of accomplishment by Muslims in mathematics, science, technology and related pursuits. And this reflects a degradation not only in those people but in Islam itself. The Muslims of Middle Ages were masterful in mathematics and architecture; but aggressively ignorant attitudes such as this prevent the same mastery from being achieved by the Muslims of today. And that hurts mostly the Muslims, especially ones such as are in Dubai, who have the courage and intellect to accept and apply mathematics and science and who, for that, are treated to slander and demonization.

The film then goes through music videos, concerts, and cartoons to show the supposed Satanic symbolism contained in them. Given that the filmmakers would interpret anything - a checkered floor, an obelisk, shopping mall decorations, the map of DC or the eye on the US dollar - as Satanic, these claims are to be expected considering the source. The filmmakers are suffering from paranoia and confirmatory bias. There are many ways to interpret a checkered floor or an obelisk, and it does not have to have anything to do with Ra or Dajjal. So that while they interpret Madonna's video of the song Frozen, which she wrote when she started studying New Age, as being an attempt on the part of the Satan to steal people's souls, the words such as the song lyrics "If I could melt your heart we'd never be apart, give yourself to me" - that they claim to be evidence of Satan attempting to take people over - are nothing that we do not see in men wooing women or in women wooing men. And while there are many interests that use film as their means of communication or advertisement, to claim Hollywood to be a monolithic Satanic cult is ridiculous.

Then there is the claim that the Gospel story of Jesus was modified to reflect the story of Horus, which led people through Christianity to worship Egyptian sun-god Ra. Since the symbol of Ra is a single eye, the film then claims that Dajjal - which the Quran refers to as being one-eyed - is in fact this Egyptian god. It then shows photos of different drawings of the One Eye on churches and cathedrals, as well as on the US dollar, and claims that all these are manifestations of the one-eyed Antichrist. The further claim is that all people complicit in any of this are in fact following Satan, and that Freemasons, as the people who built the cathedrals and churches of Europe, have duped people into doing the same.

While most readers will see this as being ridiculous, it merits a deeper response for those who may be thinking that it is not. First of all, the symbol on the dollar is not Ra; it is the all-seeing eye. Since the eye is the symbol of seeing, it should not be surprising that it would be found on religious architecture to symbolize that God is watching, that God knows, and that the people cannot avoid this. Secondly, many practices within Christianity are in fact borrowed from other religions of the time. Easter is borrowed from Babylonian goddess Ishtar, who was the goddess of resurrection and whose symbols were a rabbit and an egg. Christmas was put into the place of the Roman holiday Saturnalia. The Christmas tree was a pagan symbol of resurrection. The film says nothing about these practices; meaning that it does not know and cannot comment in an informed and intelligent way.

The Great Satan Theory

Much of the movie has references to a film called Zeitgeist, which makes a case that 9-11 was an inside job and that there is a group of bankers who have been controlling the world behind the scenes. One does not need a conspiracy theory to see how bankers would be in a position to exercise covert political influence. As the providers of capital, they have much leverage over the production process; and the money that they accrue also gives them power that they can wield as they choose. The dynamics of the banking profession itself allows for a strong possibility of bankers wielding unelected authority from behind the scenes, in the same way as say the dynamics of CIA - as a secretive organization possessing very advanced knowledge - also allows for the possibility of CIA wielding such power or with getting away with actions that would be unacceptable if they were openly scrutinized. Logically, there are many people and organizations that wield power from behind the scenes, and one does not need to resort to conspiracy theories to understand that.

With jihadism however, we are seeing anything that is wrong in the West - or anything that anyone says to be wrong with the West, whether or not it be true - being used to advance the Great Satan theory. One major strategy of the Islamists is infiltrating all groups and people who have a problem with the system and subverting them toward jihad. And what these groups and people don't know but should know is that the system that the Islamists want to force on them is far more brutal, far more oppressive, and far more terrible than anything that they are living with. Even if such conspiracy theories were true, being ruled by bankers is better than being ruled by the Taliban, and I am sure that people who have had the experience of both would be able to corroborate that.

The movie refers to an alleged fraud by British media in fabricating signs carried by Muslim demonstrants to read hateful slogans. That claim is not unlikely - the British media, it may be remembered, fabricated in 1990s a racket of accusing Pagans of practicing "Satanic Ritual Abuse" of children - an accusation that was debunked, but that is still held by many in the back of their minds. And what the British media don't understand is that they do not need to use fraud in order to paint Islamists as villains. All it really needs to do is expose the history of Islam, from being founded by a pedophilic tyrant who at age 84 bedded a 9-year-old, to its extermination of 150 million people during its spread through Middle East, to the barbaric practices of present-day Muslims such as throwing sulphuric acid into girls' faces for going to school or not wearing burqa, giving a girl 200 lashes for riding in a car with a friend, and torturing and assassinating political and religious leaders who preach democracy, tolerance and moderation.

There is a claim in the movie that Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, and that most new converts are women. Among male converts, the most in America are found in its prisons. These are people who are already violent, lawless, and have a grudge against the system; which means that they will come out of the prisons not only Muslims, but militant Muslims, and will upon the end of their sentence take jihad to America's streets. And that, is far more dangerous to America than any number of sociopaths or drug pushers. A severe internal threat to America's security is being created at taxpayer expense, and American people deserve to know about it.

Islamist Threat

While the thrust of aggressive Islam is anti-American, this is no reason for Europe, Russia, Asia and Latin America to think that they are not under threat. The goal of Islamism is world domination, and that not only means USA; it means everyone. When Cortez landed in Mexico, the neighbors of Aztecs, who saw Aztecs as being barbaric aggressors, collaborated with Cortez to bring down the Aztec city-state Tenochtitlan. They did not realize that Cortez did not only want to enslave the Aztecs, but also to enslave them. The jihadists may not be as aggressively anti-European as they are anti-American, but if they had their way, the whole world would be living by sharia. This is not only a threat against America. This is a threat against everyone, and on this matter it is fitting that Europeans, Americans, Russians, Asians and everyone else who is not jihadist put aside their differences and work together to protect the world from this menace.

The movie presents Muslim men as being loving fathers who enjoy providing for their families. Question 1: How good providers are the world's poorest people, a vast portion of whom - from Pashtuns to Somalis - are Muslim? Question 2: How loving are the men who murder their daughters for getting raped, throw sulfur in their wives' faces for arguing with them, and send their children to blow up marketplaces? Being raised by an Islamist father - or being married to an Islamist husband - is a nightmare that I would not wish upon my worst enemies. One would have better life as a sewer child in Rio or a slum child in India than being raised by the Taliban.

The movie ends with a scene in which a Muslim Imam refers to Zionists as murderers and rapists and is telling a crowd that he was going to make war on Zionists. It bears stating that the Islam was spread through Middle East through rape, murder and pillage, and that approximately 150 million people from Morocco to Pakistan were slaughtered by Bedouin invaders. Nothing that Zionists have ever done begins to compare to this atrocity. Israel deserves honor for having resisted this menace for this long while being surrounded by it on every side. The attitudes shown in this film make a strong case for the Western countries - including Israel - to keep a good stockpile of nuclear weapons. We are dealing with people who will lie, con, murder anyone and then claim themselves the warriors for Allah; and with such people there is no compromise.

The Islamists believe that destruction of Israel and Freemasonry is the will of Allah. From what Quran states, Allah is all-powerful and can do anything he wants to, at any time, without consulting anyone or needing anyone's help. If it was the will of Allah to destroy Israel, or United States, or Western Europe, then Allah would have been easily able to do that himself and without needing any mere mortals to help him. That he has not done that, means either that this is not the will of Allah or that Allah either does not exist or is not what the Quran states him to be.

In claiming their selfish political purposes to be the will of Allah, the Islamists are insulting the god that they worship. From what Quran says about Allah's character, these people are not going anywhere near heaven if they insist on using Allah like that. If there is such a thing as Allah, the people pulling this trick will find themselves in the same place as the people they hate, with the people they hate having the upper hand on them, and without Allah there to protect them or the Taliban there to publicly whip, hang or throw acid into the faces of all the "infidels" with whom they'll get to share such a place.

Response

The Middle East had great civilizations - Egypt, Persia, Phoenicians, Mesopotamia, Byzantine Empire - before the arrival of Islam. And as the worst in the Middle East are attempting to forcibly convert the world to the practice of sharia, I think it is time for a bit of reciprocity. I think it is time that the people of the West, the East, the North and the South help the people of Middle East recover the better identity that they had as part of these great civilizations before their forced conversion by marauding hooligans, as well as to create a new identity for themselves - as what they themselves may choose to become, away from oppression and brutality by the ideological descendants of those who forced this atrocity on their countries.

The makers of the film claim that they have studied many things, including major religions. As someone who has likewise studied many things, including religions but as much science and history, I can say with full clarity that we are dealing here with a totalitarian cult that will not tolerate anything except itself and will destroy anyone who has any disagreement with it, no matter how minor or how honest it may be. That these totalitarians, who give a pedophilic tyrant the full authority over the lives of a billion people and want to force the same upon the rest of the world, would claim themselves to have God's truth and all else to be serving the Satan, shows them to practice a Big Lie as massive as that of Hitler, that is just as aiming at taking over the world and would not stop at anything to do so. It is time that not only the West, but the rest of the world, see the threat that is posed by them and address it effectively before it is too late.

Islam in America Post 9-11

What do you think of when you hear the word Islam? Maybe you think of "terrorist", "inequality", "oppression"? Or maybe you think of 9/11 and the sight of airplanes come to your mind. Maybe none of these things even cross your mind when you think of Islam and you think of positive things. If you fall into the category of the latter, then you're on the right track.

Islam is not only a religion but a complete way of life. It promotes peace, justice, equality, and it is the backbone of a fulfilling life. It encourages patience during difficult times and it requires that one should be good to his or her neighbor. Muslims all over the world came to learn that they had to be patient and stick to their faith after 9/11. They were accused of being terrorists when Islam condemns terrorism and strictly values human life. In the Holy Qur'an it is said: "Killing one person is the same as killing all humanity and saving one person is the same as saving all humanity."

Muslims World

After 9/11 Muslims all over the world were targeted as terrorists, and many faced hardships which ranged from name calling to life-threatening attacks. Many Muslims in the US already suffered a lot of pain after being forced from their homelands. They came to America to live a better life and perhaps to find liberty, freedom of speech, and security.

Islam in America Post 9-11

America is the country where in the past African Americans were victims of prejudice. They were beaten, lynched, and degraded simply for being black. America is also the country that has overcame prejudice and embraced equal rights for all. In the past memories of America women were not given the right to vote, own property, and were denied many other basic rights. Women did not have the same educational opportunities as men did. However, America is the country that now gives women the right to vote and promotes equal rights for men and women. America is the country where currently Muslims are targeted for simply being Muslim.

Muslims World

The media exploits Muslims as a whole as being terrorists. Not enough attention is being focused on educating Americans on Islam and reiterating the common sense that one should not judge Islam simply on what one so called "Muslim" does. Islam can only be judged by the Qur'an, the Sunnah (teachings) of the Prophet Muhammad, and by the righteous Muslims.

When will America be the country that doesn't repeat mistakes of the past; that doesn't exploit certain people negatively; that lives up to her promises? We need to start questioning authority, effectively analyzing the credibility of what we hear and see in the media, and we need to be truthful to ourselves. We need to start to open our hearts to those around us because we are all human beings who deserve every basic right no matter where we may come from or what religion we may be.

What is the Best Makeup For a Bride to Be?

What is the Best Makeup For a Bride to Be?

Bridal makeup varies greatly in different cultures, but it always has the central theme of making the bride look outstanding on her wedding day. Being very, very general, there are two basic makeup types-the heavy makeup looks of Arab and Indian cultures, utilizing strong lines and color; and the more neutral looks of 'western' bridal makeup, usually in soft browns and grays.

For both these types of Makeup for Bride looks, the key to success is to have a great base to work with: foundation is paramount for bridal looks. While sponge and brush applications were the best we could hope for a couple of years back, nowadays bridal makeup is being revolutionized by airbrushing.

Arab

Airbrushing foundation on gives the smoother, most flawless application possible for foundation, with the added benefits of the long lasting, smudge-proof foundation formulas. Indian bridal looks have very heavy contouring on the face-this is done seamlessly with an airbrush. Even lighter contouring is achieved perfectly with airbrushing-it really is an indispensable tool for great Makeup for Brides.

While Indian and Arab brides often incorporate color into their bridal makeup, it is less common on 'western' brides, but don't fear taking a dip into a color palette. Soft pinks, browns and purples work really well with the white dress of a western bride. If you choose to add a color to the eye, then keep the lips simple and spend time to get the exact color match for eyes and lips-you don't want to be mixing color schemes.

False lashes are an essential part of the dramatic makeup of most Arab and sub continental brides, but is the drama is a little too much for you, try a half set of lashes, or even a couple of individual lashes on the outer corner of the eyes-they really do open up the eye and give a doe-like look to the eyes.

Good Makeup for Bride looks should accentuate the bride's natural features, and one way of doing this is to highlight the lips using a pressed pearl eye shadow. Don't freak out, its not white lips we're talking about-just a subtle placing of reflective pearl powder in the center of the lips that catches the light and makes lips look super pouty.

Another trick for clever Makeup for Bride boob pride is to use a contouring color in an airbrush to line the cleavage-this makes the decolletage look instantly bigger, firmer and rounder, consider it a 2 minute boob job that any bride will love. Airbrushing can also be done on the back, neck and arms to cover any imperfections without fear of it rubbing off on the dress, or other guests as the congratulatory hugs and kisses start to roll in.

Denmark Cartoons or Islamic Caricatures - Six of one or half a dozen other

Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten and made an excuse out of the Jordanian news agency Petra for publishing cartoons that supposedly were insulting to the Prophet Muhammad. Disputes bad taste regardless of the cartoonists, Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the Danish prime minister, not him and his government to apologize for the country, because the newspaper is independent and not a government agency. For many people, this makes sense, but Islam is not the mostPeople.

It seems that this tip toeing around the whole of Islam, on top of nonsense and very close to madness. Can anyone remember an excuse to come to Indonesia, the bombings by radical Islamists there? The British have an excuse for bombing the subway? Who has heard excuse a representative of a radical Islamic group for the death and destruction in America on 9 / 11 did?

Islamic

It is an apology from the Danish newspaper has offered for the lack of taste andDiscretion, or for other reasons? It is because the boycott of Danish products such as milk, food and insulin? Or, finally, is the fear or retaliation in the form of terrorist attacks against embassies, public places, schools and homes. Maybe it's just a reasonable attempt at diplomacy that a free nation would be used under any circumstances, in a civilized world.

Terrorism by any other name is still terrorism alone, despite insulted the Prophet. If the free nations have decided toThe negotiations with the terrorists at any level then we are forced to ask why we do apologize for the cartoons? The last time I had seen every cartoon ever toppled a building or a child killed in the street.

The behavior of radical Islam is to create a cartoon all by himself. It 'more like a caricature of a caricature. A cartoon is a caricature of nature, something that shows important qualities to exaggerate or intrusive. That "it" has the beauty and feminine sides of otherFeatures an exaggeration to say, is lush. The man who wants to enhance its strength, has the draw artist so stressed out the muscles in proportion to his body that point.

Islam was not the creation of a cartoon with a brush or pen in recent years around the world. These exaggerated features, such as the bombing of men, women and children, almost always without pity, without notice and without reason. Not an excuse has ever been offered for this radical was terribleIslamic cartoon.

I warned the Christians for over three decades of the next sign of the world's last dictator, commonly referred to as the Antichrist. And 'well known to them that the Bible clearly says that praises about every other world market leaders before him and before any kind of worship is the worship of the true God or a deviation, heresy or sect. II Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is God, or thatworshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God himself. "

There is barley with the Muslim faith, and certainly known to ignore or even acknowledged, but the last dictator is no excuse for them both. We will try to destroy all the major religions of the world. He is temporarily successful, but not with war, violence, but from the world economic system into one that no one escaped.

Only a handful of WesternersIslam is never in its history changed because of the images is similar to the Danish cartoons. These images make use of its components uglier than death, court and punishment are caricatures, both at an unjustified and unacceptable. Perhaps the civilized people still prefer to take pictures of a Savior gentle with children around him. Merciful or held by a woman caught in adultery from stoning a Messiah to save the world, rather than judge came. Millions of people have beentransformed by these images and are much more until the end of time.

Powerplay Islamic Ground Zero - It 'Sharia law in our future?

Just two blocks from Ground Zero, where Feisal Abdul Rauf wants its 100,000 square feet, placed the great mosque. Standing 15 stories tall - this building with the title Cordoba House - would be "a 500-auditorium, swimming pool, art exhibition spaces, libraries, restaurants," and a Muslim prayer room are, says the initiative and the Cordoba 'American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA). But what most concerned about maintaining this power on U.S. soil is that beliefs RaufSharia should be implemented in the United States and Cordoba House ambiguous sources of financial support.

While Rauf has been dubbed "anti-terrorism", he does not have his case by the refusal of Hamas as a terrorist organization, or its role as a global market leader in the Perdana Peace Organization, a partner in the experiment that could detect helping to penetrate the Israeli blockade of Gaza Strip by a Turkish fleet market.

Muslim States

Rauf is the author of what is right with Islam, suggesting that "to preserve the U.S. Constitution and system of governance, the fundamental principles of Islamic law" and therefore "the American political structure is compatible Sharia". In addition, he has his ideas to groups such as Hizb ut Thrir than impose sharia in countries around the world, including the United States seeks to promote.

Every Muslim Woman Should Have a Pair of Skinny Jeans: In Defense of the Muslim Man

Every Muslim Woman Should Have a Pair of Skinny Jeans: In Defense of the Muslim Man

I am a professional, independent, the Muslim woman. I give lectures internationally on self-esteem and self-empowerment for women. I am for the education of Muslim women and non-Muslim as well known about the importance of fitness and weight for your health. But for the duration of this "rant" my "article". I want everything on your side. This is purely about the aesthetics of being fit.

As I said, I bought my skinny jeans to Fit Muslimah Fans Facebook page, I hadan avalanche of comments indicating that I was promoting the haram and how Muslim women should not wear skinny jeans because they are too narrow and so on have been 15 comments posted in the first 20 minutes. The sad part is not just the fact that Muslims have been so judgmental and assuming the worst at once (this is an article for another day). The saddest is that none of these women even thought of these observations, the husbands. (Many thanks to the three women who in reality by the thoughtMen)

Muslim States

It can be really good for a minute. I'm going, no matter how many times a day a Muslim man praying in the mosque and he is still a man. We meet as Muslim women, because we know that the woman's body is attractive to men. We cover our bodies, because modesty is a way to reduce the "Fitna" between men and women in society. We cover not only against non-Muslim men, but men are also the Muslims. So there is no doubt that Muslim women are treated as "normal people" withDesires.

We are blessed, men who fear Allah and stand back, have their looks and their sexual desires until marriage. And to be honest, I am often with Muslim women who irritates these pious men, of course. Too often we ignore their humanity, to justify our laziness. We put a crutch on their fear of Allah and the desire of the afterlife, instead of trying to help, their life with joy in this world with beautiful women.

"The United KingdomTelegraph that scientists have found that the strongest attribute that attracts males for a woman living next to the report, that is, as women with a life that go inside, and also that go (think of is: Christina Hendricks Marilyn Monroe). The researchers said this particular study, the relationship that a guy has really worked a lifetime, hips about 70 percent of the women's actions. In addition, the researchers found that women with this specific hip liferatio drew men in, regardless of her breast size. Jessica Alba, Marilyn Monroe and Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio were deemed to have the "perfect" body by the men participating in this particular project."

Yeah, yeah, yeah, our husbands should love us for our inner beauty. But when he makes love to you he's not loving your inner beauty, he's making love to your body and that my dear is all about the pleasures of the flesh. And I don't mean the extra amount hanging on your belly.

Now I don't claim to be an expert on men, but I do know this. If you have a husband (or want a husband) who is from a western country, ever spent time in a western country, or even a watching American TV and movies then he's been exposed to the western idea of beauty. That is a woman who is hourglass shape with smooth, toned body. That doesn't mean she has to be a size zero. That means no matter what size she is she needs to maintain a healthy weight and keep her body fit. Even men who like "big girls" don't want "sloppy fat".

If you live in a western country and your husband ever leaves the house for any reason then he sees, half dressed non-Muslim women every single day, who are attractive and seductive. Then he comes home to a beautiful Muslim wife... in a sweat suit claiming she has to be comfortable to vacuum the floor and change a diaper. And like a God loving man, he probably doesn't say anything because we have somehow perpetuated this myth that a Muslim man is somehow less holy if he wants to see his wife in something sexy. Even worse, we have perpetuated an even bigger myth that wanting to be sexy is somehow haram, or imitating the non-Muslim. "HOGWASH, HOGWASH, HOGWASH"

Being sexy is an essential part to being a woman. There is nothing haram about embracing your femininity, feeling desired, and wanting to be wanted. These things are not contradictory to be a Muslim woman, they are in fact the very foundation of our principles of modesty. We teach our girls to cover because "Allah said so" when in fact the commandment to cover is not without reason or foundation. Once a Muslim woman understands and embraces the beauty, sexual power and strength of her femininity then she better understands why covering her physical beauty is that much more important. She knows that withholding the power of her sensuality, allows the power of her mind and her personality to shine that much brighter. You cannot know the full essence of being a Muslim woman until you get to know all the powers we hold.

I heard Sheik Muhammad Said Adly say in a lecture, "The Muslim woman in public should be the most pious woman in the world but in private with her husband she should be worse than the non-Muslim women". I for one believe he hit it right on the head. In the privacy of our home we should be the epitome of our husbands' desires, satisfying his spiritual, emotional AND physical needs. We need to get off our butts and make the effort to lose weight and get in shape to make his life easier and more pleasurable.

We quote all these Hadiths about pleasing our husbands when they suit us. But when we don't want to pass by the Hogendaz aisle then we have selective memory. We want to please our husbands until it means we have sacrifice our time, energy or effort on anything that we don't want to do, like exercise or diet. I for one feel sorry for the man who has to come home everyday to find his wife in a sweat suit, Abaya or her "comfortable" clothes. I feel even sorrier for the woman he's coming home to, because she has not gotten over herself to think about her husband.

The bottom line is this. All Muslim women need to get in shape for their husbands or future husbands. Muslim women should embrace their sexuality and learn the art of seduction. Because it is with these two things that we will help our husbands lower their gaze and guard their modesty even more. Yes every Muslim woman should have a pair of "skinny" jeans because they are a reminder how fit or fat you are. And every Muslim wife shouldtreat her husband to watching her fold clothes, vacuum the floor and washing dishes in her skinny jeans. --- And if it's a girl, name her Mubarakah J

May Allah forgive me if I said anything wrong and guide us all to the suratal mustakeen - Ameen

The True Story of Pakistan

Introduction

Pakistan is in the northwestern part of South Asia. It borders China to the north, Afghanistan, north-west, south-west of Iran, the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean to the south and east India. Pakistan, as you can see, at the crossroads of South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East makes it easy connection point between Central Asia and South America.

Muslim States

There was considerable in the migratory movements which are now PakistanSince prehistoric times. The people of Pakistan are descendants of various racial and ethnic groups in sub-titles that came in over the last 5,000 years, mainly in central and western Asia from time to time. But unlike popular misconception, has always maintained its separate identity and individuality from neighboring India, Pakistan, that part of Aakhand Bharat (undivided India) was established on the basis of history. Hence its partition from India is totallyunjustified. But thousands of years of history of the subcontinent, tells a different story. It tells us that the areas now called Pakistan has always had as a single, compact, and a separate geographic and political units has remained unchanged since ancient times.

The True Story of Pakistan

Few people would know the true history of Pakistan yet, few know that the oldest stone tools in the world, dating from 2.2 million years was found in Rabat, about 15 km from Rawalpindi and the largestHand ax was found in the Soan Valley. And to top it all off, the site of the first life settled into the world from 8 Mehergarh millennium BC was found in the Sibi districts of Balochistan. Although Pakistan is an independent country only by August 14, 1947, to pursue the nation itself is at its beginning only a few hundred years, yet the heritage areas of Pakistan, one of the richest civilizations and ancient settlements and all the world.

Muslim States

IndusValley civilization

The Indus Valley civilization of Harappa and civilization [i] is one of the most fascinating and oldest civilizations ever known. And 'flourished 3000-1500 BC, from the banks of the river Indus or Pakistan. This gave the civilization along the Indus River in Pakistan, today is the most important Mohenjodaro in Sind, Harappa in the Punjab, Baluch territory Kej Daro in the Pathan and Judeiro. It is generally believed that theInhabitants were Dravidians of the Indus Valley Civilization, the Sub-continent from the eastern Mediterranean.

This civilization reached its peak around the two cities Mohenjodaro and Harappa. These cities are known for their impressive, organized and regular layout known. They were centers of art and crafts. According to John Marshall, the Harappan people were literate and used the Dravidian language [ii], which is one of the first most popular languages in the world. TheirMain occupation was agriculture and commerce. The civilization is noted for its strong central government, a sense of art and architecture and home design.

Flood has had as a destroyer of this culture to be disturbed by agriculture and trade routes concerned, the majority of the population to migrate to other lands fertile. Those who remained behind a victim of Aryan invasion. The civilization lasted for 1500 years.

Arrival ofAryans

Around 1700 BC, the Indus Valley people saw the arrival of the new Central Asian nomads on horseback that eventually a decrease in their rich and sophisticated civilization of the Indus. The Aryans came in at least two large waves in Pakistan. The first wave came around 2000 BC and the second wave came at least six centuries later. It 'was after the second wave of Aryan invasion, which became dominant and spread their language throughout the length and width of the region. They went through the Swat valley north-west mountain passes and pushed the locals or the Dravidians (the people of the Indus civilization) to the south or towards the jungles and mountains of the north. They settled in Punjab and the Indus valley and then spread east and south. In contrast to the Indus people were uncivilized Aryan race. Their religious texts and human remains suggest that the Aryans were in their violent invasions. They killed the inhabitants and burned their city. AA similar approach was suggested by Stuart Piggott in his book Pre-historic India:

"The Aryan advent was in fact the arrival of the barbarians in a region already highly organized into a kingdom that is based on a long tradition of urban culture education."

In addition to hunting robust Arians also skilled farmers and craftsmen. They were worshipers of nature and their religious books are called Vedas. Aryans were tall, well built and had interesting features and pale complexionwhile the inhabitants of the Indus Valley were blacks, the flat nose and short stature. The people of India have the superior Aryan and became their slaves. This was the basis for the caste system in order of superiority as Brahmins (priests) Kashatryas (warriors) and Vaisyas (businesses and citizens). The Dravidians were placed in the fourth and referred to as the Sudras (slaves).

Persian Empire

In the 6 th century BC, Darius crashed and Pakistan and the Indus plainsAchaemenid Persian Empire, part of Gandhara, with its capital, Persepolis, Iran. It was from there that the city of Taxila, and began to grow in the region has seen the birth of another great civilization, Gandhara civilization for most of northern Pakistan, with two capitals Pushkalavati (Charsadda) and sila-Takshka ( Taxila) called.

As part of the Persian Empire, the region has risen to the zenith. Trade with Iran and the West, once again, the economyflourished, weapons and other artifacts of daily use. Charsadda and Taxila were the centers of activity. One of the largest universities in the ancient world was established in Taxila. It was at this University that Chandra Gupta Maurya's education, which then formed the Mauryan Empire in South Asia. These rich Achaemenid Empire, which stretched from Pakistan to Greece and Egypt, however, collapsed under the onslaught of Alexander of Macedonia.

AlexanderInvasion

Alexander entered Pakistan from the path of the north in Swat and Gandhara 327-325 BC conquered the region. He first reached Taxila. The Raja of Taxila know the reputation of the vast army of Alexander gave a welcome place of resistance. Alexander stayed in Taxila for some time came on Raja Porus, the ruler of the area was east of the Jehlum. He then went to the river Beas, where his army refused to go further, so that came through the entireLength of Pakistan, crossed the river Hub near Karachi, and went home to die on the road. Alexander led the invasion of Greek knowledge and science to Taxila.

Here it is noteworthy that in all settlements and invasions is that the civilization of the Indus Valley, Aryans or during half a millennium after the Aryan migrations and during the Persian Empire, Pakistan has always been considered a separate entity from India and the period covered by these settlements is approximately 2200Years.

Mauryan Empire

Untimely death of Alexander in Babylon in 323 BC, led to the dismantling of his vast empire into two parts (the Byzantine Empire and Greek Bacterian). The control of this region, therefore, fell into the hands of the indigenous tribes and dynasties. Chandragupta Maurya was the founder of the Maurya, who marched on the plain of the Ganges, defeating King Nanda and a strong government in a place called Magadha (present Bihar). It should be notedwho reigned from India, but he was a son of the region Potohar and prince of Taxila. He followed Jainism. His grandson Ashoka was a Buddhist.

Like the Mauryan rulers are not in Hinduism and Buddhism and Jainism is promoted, the criticisms were Hindus. Hindus succeeded by their intrigues and conspiracy to put an end to the dynasty of the Maurya and followed instead was the birthplace of origin Brahman dynasty Singhas canvas and Indra. This dynasty ruled southern and centralIndia, but has proven to be weak and short lived.

Graeco-Bactrian Rule

The Greeks arrived in Gandhara, Bactria in 185 BC, about 50 years after the death of Ashoka. It was the dead of the armies of Alexander the Great from Bactria (Balkh in northern Afghanistan today). They built the Greek cities of Taxila and Pushkalavati (Charsadda) and introduced their language, art and religion in the country of Gandhara. Their language was more than 500 years and their art and religion hadsignificant influence on the Gandhara civilization. The most powerful of the Bactrian Greek King Menander was (mid-second century BC). The Graeco-Bactrian rule lasted only a century.

The Saka

After the greek-Bactrian was Pakistan in several small kingdoms, the Greek victims of the great wave of Scythians (Saka), which migrated on a large scale has been divided. They were nomads of northern Iran. Sakas overturned the Greek rulers and established their control over Pakistan.Sakas settlements were so large that Pakistan was known as Scythia. Gandhara was the center of the Saka-domains and Taxila was chosen the capital. The Sakas and Scythians were large, large framed and fierce warriors. They were wonderful horsemen and Lance experts. Sakas were followed by powerful parties from east of the Caspian Sea, in about AD 20.

The Kushan

The Kushan from Central Asia, founded the Kushan Empire in the Indus Valley. The third king of thisKanishka was the most successful dynasty of rulers. His reforms brought him fame. Like his predecessor, he also has an active interest in Buddhism. Kushan made their capital, Peshawar. The Kushan period is considered the golden age of Pakistan and has brought great wealth and prosperity in the region with the development of the Silk Road in China. It 'was a Kushan-Shahar, the land of the Kushan be known. It was the Kushan kings, the national dress of shalwar (shirt) with kameez (trousers) andSherwani Pakistan.

After the death of Kanishka not keep his kingdom intact successors. The result was that parts of it were captured by Sassanid Persia. In the 4 th Century, a new dynasty Kidar (little) Kushan came to power and established their capital, Peshawar. At about the same time, Gupta empire came to power in neighboring India, and annexed a large area of the subcontinent was not over the Sutlej and not includedKashmir. So during the Gupta period, Pakistan was in the hands of Kushan and Sassanian.

White Huns

The Huns were nomadic tribes of the western border of China, the attack after the conquest of Central Asia, Iran and Pakistan from Central Mongolia. Their leaders were "Khan" as. The particular branch of the Huns, who came to Pakistan, known as Epthalite or White Huns. One of its powerful ruler whose capital was Mehar Gul Sakala (Sialkot currently). They killed and Buddhistsburned all the monasteries. Completely eliminated their conquest Gupta regimes. The origin of most of the Afghan-Pathan tribes and clans of the Rajput and Jat Punjab and Sindh, according to modern scholars, are the descendants of the White Huns. The case of Hun rulers led to the emergence of small kingdoms, which causes the deterioration of the political, social and economic, to the Muslims arrived in the scene.

Arab invasion

During the period of Rajputs in North India, ie, 7 to 12Century AD, was the light of Islam in this part of the world. Islam arrived in Pakistan from two directions, south and north. In 711 an expedition of 20 years with an Arab, Muhammad Bin Qasim came across the Syrian sea piracy in the Arab and shipping which was established on the subcontinent, to suppress the northern kingdom of Multan and Mansura Al-ins are built. Mohammad Bin Qasim conquered Sind and decided that for about three years ago has called up and killed. After Mohammad BinQasim was goodbye to the Muslim rule in Punjab and the south are limited. The north, made up of the Punjab and NWFP and the south, consisting of Multan, Sindh and Balochistan under the various Muslim rulers, but by that time was divided into two parts in Pakistan for a long time.

The Turks

In the 10 th Century AD, the Turks attacked descendants with their capital at Ghazni in the region. They migrated from Central Asia and played an important role in politicsThe life of the subcontinent for 200 years. The Ghaznavids, a Turkish dynasty, which goes to Afghanistan, and succeeded the Arabs under the leadership of Sultan Mahmud, who established the Islamic regime of the subcontinent. Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznah or Mahmud, son of the king of Ghazni turkish Sabuktgin that Pakistan invaded from the north. Gandhara, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan were all part of the Ghaznavids, which had its capital in Ghazni, Afghanistan, and laterLahore.

With the arrival of the Turks were Muslims, Sufi dervishes and Central Asia, Iran and Afghanistan to spread their word, the message of Islam throughout the country. Some of them are Sheikh Ismail, Syed Ali Hajveri, Shakar Ganj, Moeen-ud-Ajmeeri, Nizam-ud-Din Oliya, Baha-ud-Din Khawaja Moeen-ud-Din and Zakir Chishti. It was through these pious saints and Sufis, Islam spread along the length of the subcontinent. The city of Multan was known as theCity of Saints. Although Ghaznavid rule in Pakistan, has over 175 years, but not connected to any area of Mahmud Ravi. He contented himself with the annexation of Punjab alone. He was neither a thief nor a tyrant by some historians as written. His reputation as a great patron of literature and culture has remained intact at this time. It 'was under his auspices that the famous epic poem was written by Firdawsi Shahnama.

The United Ghaznavid came into conflict with theRulers of Ghor, which destroyed the city of Ghazni reduced to ashes. Ghor were Oghuz of Ghor in Afghanistan. Sultan Muhammad of Ghor and his slave raid lieutenant Qutb-ud-Din Aybak subcontinent and conquered Delhi in 1193 Ghori was a soldier brave and able administrator, but not as bright as Mahmoud. However, Ghori left a lasting influence on the history of India. It has the reputation of a gentle and benovelant and be a just ruler. He had no heirs. He trained his slaves inWar and the administration. It 'been Aybak, one of his slaves, who became his successor after the assassination in 1206 Ghori

After Ghori's death, he founded his slave Qutab-ud-Din Aybak first slave turkish dynasty (1206-1290), which lasted for more than 300 years. Aybak was more familiar with General Muhammad Ghori and received administrative control over some of the conquered lands. It was originally the capital of Lahore, but later moved to Delhi Thatswhy the dynasty of slaves, is alsocalled the Sultanate of Delhi. However Aybak reign was short-lived (5 years) and was succeeded by nine other slave kings. Under his successors, his son-in-law were Iltutmish (1211-1236) Raziyya Sultana (1236-1239) and the most famous Balban. Balban is known for its strong central government has recalled. With his death, the dynasty and the final blow came in the form of Jalaluddin Firuz Khilji. The Sultanate period spent most of the subcontinent under their controland established Muslim rule on solid ground.

The Sultanate of time began the rise and fall of dynasties 4 other in rapid succession: the Khilji (1290-1320), the Tughlaqs (1320-1413), the Sayyid (1414-1451) and Lodhis (1451-1526) . The Khilji Turks by origin, but had spent time in Afghanistan so long that they no longer regarded as Turks. They took control of the subcontinent in the form of a coup. Among these, Alao-Din Khilji, was the most famous, as he had a great impact onIndia's history. She was intelligent, imaginative and strong ruler. The Khilji empire lasted 30 years. The Khilji was the Tughluqs, which strengthened the Muslim rule and successfully revived the empire. The Tughluqs even the usefulness of public works such as castles and canals and restored law and order. The Sayyid and Lodhis followed next and their rule continued until 1526, when Babur founded the Mughal empire.

The Mughals

"Mughal" is the Persian translation of theWord "Mongol," from which the English word "mogul" "tycoon". The Mongols were the last of the Mongols. In the 16 century, raided Mohamed Zaheeruddin Babur, the first Mughal emperor and a descendant of Tamerlane and Genghis Khan, conquered the Punjab from Afghanistan and Ibrahim Lodhi at the historic battle of Panipat and founded the Mughal empire. Babur was succeeded by his son, Humayun in 1530. Humayun was the Sher Shah Suri, who ousted the kingdom ruled until his death in1545 Humayun, who returned in self-exile in Persia, and won the throne in 1554, but died two years later. He was succeeded by his son Akbar. Akbar was the greatest Mughal emperor and ruled for more time. It has improved the central administration and was a great patron of art and literature. Mughal art and architecture reached its zenith under the rule of Akbar's son Jahingir and then under his grandson Shah Jahan. A legacy of magnificent mosques, palaces,Tombs, castles and gardens that can be seen in Lahore, Multan, Jehlum and other places. Auranzeb succeeded Shah Jahan and reigned from 1658-1707. He was a pious man and an efficient administrator. With the death of Auranzeb, broke the great Mughal Empire (1526-1857).

In 1739 Nadir Shah of Persia invaded the region and Ahmed Shah Abdali after his death the kingdom of Afghanistan was founded in 1747. Then in the early 19 th century, pushed back the Sikhs, the Afghans toKhyber Pass Ranjit Singh, the Sikh leader made famous Lahore his capital and ruled from 1799 until 1839. The Sikh rule broke out between the British and then the Muslim rule ended on the subcontinent. However, note that unlike the British "no established rule by elite immigrant Muslims in India. The Muslims ruled India for a distant homeland, yet they were members of a dominant group within the Indian community social" are.

The British Period

The British came asTraders with the British East India Company at the beginning of 17 century, gradually became involved in Indian politics, and finally, after the battle of Plassey in 1757, began to conquer the subcontinent. If 1843 was entirely within their control. They defeated the Sikhs in 1845 and 1849 in the Anglo-Sikh War.

After the First War of Independence in 1857 (Sepoy Mutiny known as), the British government took direct control of Pakistan. This marked the beginning ofBritish Raj (British rule), and in the name of Queen Victoria, the British continue to expand their empire. Hunza on the border with China was the last area to fall into British hands in 1891, only a few western Afghanistan, and most areas of Pakistan remain outside their control. Have limited the Durand Line in 1893 after the separation of Pakistan from Afghanistan. The British had a strong influence on modern Pakistan. They have introduced not only its own legal and administrative system, but alsobrought their culture, language, art and architecture, some of which are still visible today in Pakistan.

The battle for Pakistan

After an unsuccessful first war of independence in 1857, the British determined to suppress and weaken the Muslims, who held primarily responsible for the revolt. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (1817-1898) one of the first attempts by the Islamic state founded the Aligarh movement to restore. Muslims form a political party with the name of the MuslimLeague under the chairmanship of Nawab Salimullah Khan in Dhaka in 1906. But when Jinnah accepted the leadership of the Muslim League in 1936, was a dynamic national organization of Muslims.

In 1930, a Muslim poet and philosopher Muhammad Iqbal, the creation of a separate Islamic state proposals for those areas of the subcontinent with a Muslim majority. His proposal was adopted by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a British lawyer and Pakistan the first head of state. This idea of a separate Islamic state called Pakistan in the subcontinent, the form of a resolution adopted by the Muslim League in 1940, adopted in Lahore session. This was the resolution of Lahore, who was popularly known as the resolution of Pakistan. The philosophy underpinning the theory of two nations, it says on the individuality of the Hindus and Muslims that those two countries reaffirmed their civilization, culture, heritage and religion, the namecan not live under a single country. This was the basis for Pakistan.

The British realized that they would use their influence in the subcontinent as well give up on the 20th of February 1947, British Prime Minister Lord Atlee Mr. announced that the British government would force the natives of the subcontinent on his hand. It was finally agreed that the subcontinent is to partition and the device will be passed to the two states in the middle of the night on Independence14 and 15 August 1947. So the Muslims to fight under the leadership dynamic of fruit Muhammad Ali Jinnah hole, the subcontinent gained independence from the British and Pakistan as a sovereign and independent Muslim Created 14 August 1947.

It was decided that in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and West (now Pakistan) include wing of the country. Indian Muslims in the region had to migrate to Pakistan. This migration was accompanied by terribleThe violence and bloodshed, not to mention the various problems of the division of Pakistan had in the hands of Indians against non-cooperative.

Independent of Pakistan

One of the Sindhu or Indus (Pakistan) and the other is known in the valley of the Ganges (India) as Bharatvarta; The world always has two different countries and cultures in the sub-continent known. The country had with the Sindhu civilization Harappa their control of Rupar on the Sutlej over the lower Indus in ArabicSea, the area now covered by Pakistan. Sindhu replace the country has always been known for its independent existence, completely out of the valley of the Ganges in India.

In addition, Pakistan as an independent country always looked westward and had more cultural relations, commercial and political with the Sumerian, Babylonian, Persian, greek and turkish as the Valley of the Ganges. During the 5000 years of known history of Pakistan, Pakistan remained part of India up to a total period of 711 yearsthe 512 years were the period of 100 years each by the Muslims and the Mauryan (primarily Buddhist) and British times. Pakistan has remained independent or part of powers to the West and its relationship with India has been one exception.

This may be why there are hardly any influence of Hindu architecture in Pakistan, instead of Hinduism, Islam gives shape to life of most Pakistanis. Moreover, Hindus themselves have always Yavanas (the people of Pakistan) is consideredAt that time, as unclean and outside of Aryandom. Sun Pakistan as part of India is a weak theory, which is not grounded in history. In fact it was the famous two-nation theory of Jinnah, Iqbal formulated and implemented by the resulted in the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

Anger Management By slow to take offense

Religion has a big goal for comedians in the Edinburgh Festival in 2006 and in the world, in general, for a while 'time. If religious people are offended and even angered by jokes about their most sacred beliefs and those who worship them? Maybe not as often are.

The issue was recently in a BBC show Heaven and Earth is discussed. Canon Robin Gamble of Manchester Cathedral has suggested that large enough to take care of yourself is God. We should only be concerned if the aweak and defenseless are ridiculed.

Muslim Rules

Some religions such as Judaism, not in the grip of non-self too seriously. There is a story, for example, a man of 94 years, jew on his deathbed. Larry Jay Tish, a comedian jew, described what happened.

Anger Management By slow to take offense

The Jew asked his rabbi to die to find a priest so that he could be converted to Christianity.

Muslim Rules

"You are a Jew, your whole life for 94 years. You're on your deathbed. And now you want to convert to Christianity. Why? "Asked the Rabbi.

"I think it is better, any of them would rather die than any of us!"

Please note that the priority of a comedian to get a laugh. You are not possible on the sensitivity of the persons concerned in their audiences.

Nor are they always try to evil. You just need a laugh, or do not survive as a comedian. You may also need to shock, to increase the size of their audience.

And 'now the penaltyunderstand exactly why comedians say or do things that seem outrageous at first sight.

A comedian at the festival dressed as a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay in an orange jumpsuit. He wore a crown of thorns. Many Christians would be offended, but the comic in question think laughter is sacred.

Laughter encourages you to mock the authorities and to think critically. He believes that this attitude is typical of the spirit of Christ.

In early 2006 CartoonsProphet Mohammed in Denmark have been running sparking angry protests and riots worldwide release. Read a manifesto of protest. "Slay those who insult Islam" But not all Muslims to show the anger of the kind.

Omar Marzouk is a Dane, a comic Muslim. He can see the humor of the situation, but does not intend to offend his brethren. However, he is not afraid to point out stupidity, wherever it occurs.

"It 'really hard for a European, Danish, Muslim, because I'm confusedon what to burn and to boycott! And 'difficult because of all the Muslim terrorists and now people hate me, because Danish too! "

Omar, to parents born in Copenhagen Egyptians, Muslims and the radical right in the same way violation. Some of his comments like the following, in which he refers to the London bombings could also offend the moderates:

"I think they should employ Muslims, to ride on trains and buses with explosive belts around the waist. Then we could alsoour contribution to the war against terrorism. Then, appear when a suicide bomber should be real, you might say:

"Listen, you go down colleagues. This is my bus! "

He also said something about the shooting of innocent Brazilian in London.

"There are some rules to follow when you look like me and live in England. For example, you can not run to catch a train or a bus. Go."

It may even offend many people and especially the relatives of the dead and wounded, but mostpublic are just happy to be able to laugh at such serious and frightening questions. Omar wants enough power to talk about problems.

Australian comedian Jim Jeffries argued that one can not be seen his shows, so if you are offended worried. His posters say, it is considered offensive. If you're worried, do not buy a ticket. A joking comment that he typically is as follows:

"Are you worried about suicide bombers in Scotland? NumberOf course not. Scotland seems to have been done! "

Some comedians get religion as a target, because I personally do not believe in God for their God is like jokes about jokes about Santa Claus.

Ed Byrne is convinced that religion is an easy topic for comedians, because everyone knows it.

He told his audience that he was an atheist when he was very young when the Christians saw the installation of a lightning rod of his local church - "WhatThey show a lot of faith! "

And do not believe that God exists if he could, so petty, like a comedian by cracking a joke on him angry. Other important things are happening in the world.

Stephen Green of 'Christian Voice' claims that if God is not only a private life is left to the Almighty Ruler of the universe, we must not take his name abused and should be of concern if we are doing. He feels that the comedians have no idea how deep hurtreligious people.

And, instead, is considered by some Christians that has been sent Hurricane Katrina to clean up the city of New Orleans and that God is his creation with "drunk all the precision molding of 7 years of ants destroy believe, believe offended" .

Canon Robin is up to how quickly Christians, offended by worry. He quoted the Bible: "Love is slow to take offense."

He is not worried about offensive comments about religion: "God is greatGuys, I need to work for him. I am shocked by how quickly Christians offended. We should be more tolerant. Life is brilliant. And 'the joy and share this joy. "

Stephen argues that not to offend anyone, just because they are great. They would not hesitate to make a great husband that his mother was a whore to tell. If God is so great, we should worry about insulting them.

Canon Robin, as usual, I disagree with Stephen Green. We should feel safe and comfortable inGod - God does not care if you laugh at yourself and your beliefs to reduce tensions.

In principle I agree with the views of Robin Canon. God is too big and life is too exciting, furious at attempts to use the comic to God or religion as the target of their jokes. Love should take offense to slow down.

Not done under the criminal world has a lot of good. Religious wars have killed millions of people. It 's time to try another way.

St. Paul is probablytalking primarily about human relationships, when he teaches that love slowly offense in his famous passage on love in his first letter to the Christians of Corinth.

A confident man will not have people making fun of him or her to be worried. He or she will have enough sense to realize that violations may result in damage to the comparison, which will result in no benefit.

As the Buddha said, is the angry man as a person with a piece of hot charcoal in his handlay on his opponent. And 'getting hurt as well as his opponents.

Trusting people are confident enough not to take insults personally. Understand that not everyone likes, but do not need much and anxious and angry about the insults of those who do not like them or envy.

A loving man will be good, even in people who offend them. These can be large enough to have to ignore the insults, see also their enemiestheir friends.

Politicians have not learned the art of responding to insults with anger. John Prescott, the deputy prime minister of Britain, is accused, as President Bush has a policy for peace in the Middle East, "cr **" The White House has responded very tolerant.:

"Being called names is part of the burden of leadership"

In summary we can say, religious people should not be too concerned about offensive comments about their religion. It is not necessary. Obviously they did not becomeangry enough to kill.

This love is big enough to defend itself and usually teach love and forgiveness rather than violence. Deaths have been pretty faithful to easily offended by the fact that others do not share their respect for their faith in God has been created to take.

All people should take offense to slow down. Love for the production of tolerance far better results and lasting anger.

If politicians, with the possibleException of John Prescott can stay cool so the rest of humanity!

Gervase Phinn, author of the well-known Roman Catholic who is in Northern Ireland, Protestant emphatically a piece of graffiti:

No Pope here!

Under a Roman-Catholic joke wrote with equal emphasis:

LUCKY old Pope!

- An answer much better than bombs and bigotry!

Islamic view of marriage and women

Islamic view of marriage and women

Marriage is a union of souls in the deepest sense. God unites these two souls, in order to enjoy peace and stability in a marital home with the grace of true love and compassion filled. In Islam, the woman is seen as just one of the joys of life and a great blessing for a man, that he returns home to her relaxed and after the struggles of life and finds its incomparable tranquility, comfort and pleasure. The world is only a temporary advantage andcomfort in this world is a virtuous woman. Islam regards marriage as a high level and look for femininity as something to care for and maintain.

Based on this vision of marriage and the woman has not passed through the Muslim attitude of some girls dressed are empty now. Rather, he is attracted by a sound Muslim personality, and he takes his time in the choice of life partner. Looking for a partner who has the right characteristics that make for a stable Islamic andhappy married life. Therefore, it is not in the superficial physical beauty, grace and elegance, the only concern of young people to run empty they are interested. While he does not ignore the physical aspect, it also looks strong religious beliefs and practices, intelligence and good manners.

Islamic

Citizen of the World

For all his wisdom, Master Socrates lost an occasion to shut it when he said 2400 years ago: "I am not an Athenian, I am not a Greek. I am a citizen of the world." Don't get me wrong: that was, back in its context, a wonderful statement; a well-thought provocation towards his judges and a daring dig at the Greek's bigotry and self-centeredness.

But the problem of brillant quotes is that they raise the attention of not so brillant quote recyclers who never miss a chance to use them in every social context, where reputations are made and laurel wreathes are given. At the weekly Grammy Awards of self-righteous yuppies, one can always be sure of finding, standing between the gay-friendly of the month and the feminist of the year, the new self-processed "Citizen of the world".

Muslims World

I met one last week, and I tried to understand what she (since it was a she-citizen of the world) meant by that. First, she meant that she was not a woman, but an individual. She was a woman all right, but she didn't want people to look at her that way. "Feminity", according to her, was a male invention meant to confine women to an ascribed role. She developed this idea and I thought "All right, she may be right on certain points."

Citizen of the World

Then, she said that she didn't feel like a French or a European person, but as a member of humanity. It was pure chance that she was born in France and that she learnt the language, and she didn't feel any different from an Eskimo or a Papuan. I thought again: "Well, why not?"

Muslims World

Religion came into consideration and she of course denied the impact of being a Christian, a Muslim or a polytheistic bloke from New Guinea. These were all personal beliefs and everyone was free to express one's belief. It didn't interact with the rest.

We said each other goodbye and on the way back home, I told myself how lucky I was to have met a person whose extraordinary power of transcendence made her at the same time a man and a woman, a French and a Libyan, a Christian and a Muslim.
I wondered why I spent so much time and money learning about interculturality, languages and religions, since a simple chat in a Parisian café was enough to get a complete overlook on humanity. We just have to deny them and stay what we are, and where we are. Peacefully, effortlessly, with a medal around our neck saying: "Citizen of the world".

I thought Socrates meant we had to open ourselves to other cultures and share our views on things. I was maybe off-target. He more certainly meant that he considered himself beyond the Athenian law and its army of narrow-minded law-makers. By proclaiming himself a citizen of the world, he was pleading for an universal justice which would not hide behind a wall of silly traditions.
But 2400 years later, nobody gives a shit about the real meaning of that. The packaging is cool enough not to care too much about the actual content.
